SPEECH SENSATIONS

by Diana M.A. CCC-SLP

The English language has more than a dozen vowels which are very challenging to the non native speaker.

Some distinctive English consonants  also pose difficulty and can

create discomfort and misunderstanding.

SPEECH SENSATIONS SERIES produced phonetically based

VIDEO lessons whichidentify particular vowels

and consonants thatcause the most confusion in words.

Depending on your native tongue, one needs to tackle about 6-10 vowels and consonants, each presented  in a VIDEO lesson.

To facilitate advancement in sound identification, some videos provide examples of ‘minimal word pairs’, contrasting the

similar sounds, so you ‘see’ and hear the difference and can repeat the words.

After Hearing ,Identifying and Producing these English Sounds, you will be able to converse with ease, and transmit a clear message.

Practice sheets are available as a supplement to the video instruction.

While practicing the various phonetic sounds, you will also e x p a n d

your vocabulary and become familiar with similar sounding words

of different meanings.

GOOD LUCK!
